Letter to myself when I don't feel like writing.
The letter I wrote to myself in my process journal. I write a letter or introductory entry to myself whenever I start a new one.

JUST WRITE.
When you don’t feel like it.
When you think you have nothing to say.
When you feel as though there are too many thoughts to sort through.
JUST WRITE.
When you’re happy.
When you’re sad.
When you’re indifferent.
And especially when you don’t know how you’re feeling.
JUST WRITE.
Don’t worry about finding the perfect words.
Don’t become fixated on the flow.
Don’t censor yourself.
Don’t hide from you.
JUST WRITE.
And write some more.
Nothing is too long.
Or too short.
There is no imperfect length.
JUST WRITE.
The thoughts, words, and feelings that are yours.
You are your audience.
Write for you.
Write to you.
Write to heal.
And write to release.
JUST WRITE.
