That is so true and it's something that we all should remember, whether or not we are in a relationship. And taking that cue, I am going away on a trip to Sedona, AZ for my birthday. No husband and only one friend is allowed to come. My husband doesn't understand the celebratory nature of birthdays and my birthday is very important to me. So this year, instead of planning my entire birthday party, inviting people over and having all that stress to clean, host, and do all the things, I am going away for my birthday. I am celebrating my birth and existence on this planet in a way that truly celebrates me. And only I can give that to myself. Here's to dating ourselves better than anyone else!

Feeling better-ish. Creating systems that help me to be more productive/ work toward my goals etc. is a bit slow going. I still don't feel like I have my feet under me just yet.
